The circuit of Fig. P6.55, known as Baker clamp and much in use before SBDs became more popular, uses two regular diodes to prevent the BJT from saturating. Assuming VBE(on) 5 VD(on) 5 0.7 V, fi nd all voltages and current in the circuit for vS 5 0 V and vS 5 5 V.
