The biggest problem with using the two’s complement method to store signed integers is that the zero is represented in two ways. The fraction ¾ when converted to binary and stored in a 4-bit location is represented as 0.00112.To store the binary number 1102in an 8-bit location, simply add five zeros to get 110000002.
