The attached data provides you with the yearly average alcohol consumption (in volume (L) and per capita) of beer and the yearly crime rate (per 100K population) in Australia. We are investigating whether a linear relationship exists between the two variables. We postulate that the crime rate is the dependent variable and that beer consumption is the independent variable Using the sample data provided to you, please do the following, and make sure to provide explanations (e.g. details of calculations) for each answer: · Write down the equation of the linear regression model we are considering.
