The learning outcome that this assignment addresses is how to actively design and plan research and how to approach doing research, applying the survey method. Survey design will be covered in Module 7 (July 7) and class time will be dedicated to work on the project. Based on the principles outlined in textbook Chapters 3, 5, 7 (Bryman & Bell) and in discussions during lecture, The requirements will include a five-page survey instrument (including introductory statement, instructions), with a one-to-two page background summary on the subject/topic, rationale for the study (page count not including any references or title page.)
