Instructions: You are required to produce a professional, well-organised, clear and coherent, independent business research report, of 2,500 words that has an Executive Summary, Table of Contents, Introduction and Conclusion, along with four main sections: 1. Section 1: Include a brief description of your chosen workplace and the industry it operates in, as well as the organisational chart and your reporting line. Also include in section 1, some research and discussion on the organisational culture, its leadership and how people work together. 2. Section 2: Include a review of what the organisation is doing for induction, training, professional development and succession planning, for its employees. 3. Executive summary
This study provides information regarding the work competencies that are needed in order to work with any organisation. Considering the information from assessment 2, Red Rooster was the company inn focus. The company was analysed in terms of the organisational structure and the product they deliver. Further,

Introduction
While working for an organisation or a company it is necessary that the employee understand and looks deeply into the expectations that the employer may be searching for. Therefore, in order to determine these expectations it is necessary that the employees be introduced to the concept of ‘workplace competencies’. This not only provides the employee with a clear idea of what is expected from them but also it indicate that which workplace behaviours are valued, recognised and rewarded. Here, the focus moves away from the formal qualifications and is shifted towards the proven and required capabilities that the job demands.

Red Rooster’s Profile
When it comes to hotel and restaurant industry, the major principle, on which they functions is ‘hospitality’. Good consumer service and a positive feedback are the driving forces that lead a restaurant to towards success. Red Rooster is an Australian fast food restaurant that was setup in 1972 with ‘Red Red Ready’ as its initial name. However, in 1996 the name was changed to ‘Red Rooster’. The company is owned, operated and parented by ‘Craveable brands’, which also owns other fast food brands such as ‘Chicken treats’ and ‘Oporto’ (Red Rooster, 2019).
With more than 360 functional stores along with more than 5000 employee working with ‘Red Rooster’ reflects that the business is proceeding towards success with an appreciable pace. The restaurant is famous exclusively for its chicken products, as they have inculcated a vast variety of chicken-based food products, which have sustained its potential and loyal customers from years. Their product range of chicken includes, whole roast, half roast and further, in order to provide more dynamic food offering to the customers they also offer wraps, salads, burgers, beverages, fish based foods and deserts. In this study, the organisation is being observed and analysed in order to identify and provide relevant workplace competencies that may be required while working with ‘Red Rooster’.
Organisational Chart and Work Place Culture
The following organisational chart reflects every employee that is associated with the company and makes up the restaurant staff along with managers and owners. The chart represents a hierarchical system, from which a clear indication regarding the responsibilities of every employee can be taken and also it provides information regarding the flow of communication within the organisation. Company’s headquarters is at Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia and currently Nick Keenan is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

According to Keenan, the company not only works to provide the finest dining experience to the customers but also focuses towards a friendly, non-stressful yet professional working environment for the employee.
