Financial Statements are the major source of information pertaining to business’s
performance and health, medium to long term goal, company’s policy and strategy and long term
trajectory of growth. There are few parameters both financial and non-financial play a vital role
in deciding the company’s long term financial health and business trend. For example, a
company currently engaged in manufacturing the apparels must have to consider the current
market condition, consumer choice, cost of manufacturing and sales and distribution cost apart
from other variables to better tap the business opportunity for sustainable growth and survival.
This information can be dug out from financial statement as well as from other sources. The
feasibility and accuracy of information are necessary as the company’s long term growth and
success of its policy and strategy are highly based on it.
