The 2010 health care act was highly controversial, and many people chose sides based on political party. Run a simple regression with ANES data that uses the Health Care Index as your dependent variable and the recoded party identification variable as your independent variable. Then, examine the possibility that part of the effect of political party could be that the different parties have different ideas regarding the role that government should play in people’s lives. That is, add the Government Role Index as an independent variable and run the regression again. Create a table that contains both models, and fully interpret your results.
