Tesla claims that it’s latest battery will take only 1 hour to recharge and the battery will last more than double the time of a normal battery. On average, their battery lasts for 70 months. A research group wanted to test that claim. They took a sample of 50 batteries and they found that on average a Tesla battery would last 67 months with a standard deviation of 3.5 months.
