Teratogen Assignment Teratogen Brochure Assignment For this assignment, you will create a computer-generated brochure discussing the implications and harmful effects of an environmental agent (teratogen) on the developing embryo/fetus. When creating this brochure, think about the intended audience: adults who may be contemplating having children and already expectant couples. This brochure should include graphics, bullet points, facts, etc. and should be creative (attractive, colorful, and easy to read), as well as informative (the reader should learn something from your information) and accurate (all the information is correct). You will create 2 pages: 1 will be the front and back of your brochure, and the other will be the inside of your brochure. There should be no blank spaces. Suggested topics include alcohol, cigarettes, or specific drugs such as cocaine, or heroin. (Check with me if you are unsure about your topic). Choose only ONE teratogen for your brochure! (FASD is NOT a teratogen—it is a disorder. Alcohol is the teratogen.) Check out “Google-Images” for a large selection of images that can be used on your brochure.
