Teddy Roberts is 78 years old; he was brought to hospital by ambulance after a fall in his garden. He has a painful left wrist with obvious swelling, his x-ray shows a fractured radius and ulna. He has a history of rheumatoid arthritis of his hands and knees. He also has Glaucoma, wears a hearing aid and uses a 4-prong walking stick for assistance with mobilisation. He currently lives at home with his cat George.
