You should write your essay with reference to the essay guide and you should use the essay template. This template has been created to support you to write an ethics essay, as this is a new task for many of the students in this course.

The summary box part of the template is compulsory: all essays must contain this summary box. The summary box does NOT count towards your word limit. While I strongly suggest that you write your essay using the word template provided, if you are a very experienced essay writer and would prefer not to use it you don’t have to. If you choose not to use the template I suggest you contact Jane ([email protected]) before you proceed. Even if you do not use the essay template you MUST include the summary box as set out in the guide.
