Task: Research Report (100 marks)


Whilst on work-placement carry out your research project following your research proposal and plan (see cluster off the job assessment).
Report your findings in a research report when you have completed the research. This report should be approximately 2,000 words.  You may complete the written report after work placement.  However, your assessor will need to see evidence of the research study in progress.

Organise your report using the following headings:
•    Abstract or summary of report (10 marks)

•    Background, including the research question or identified need, and how it was identified (10 marks)

•    How will you encourage the children to participate in sustainable practice discussions and learning experiences? (10 marks)
•    Safety measures taken when implementing the research, especially when involving children throughout your project. (5 marks)
•    Methodology used and reasons for choice of method (10 marks)

•    Results and data analysis process (20marks)
•    Conclusions and findings, recommendations and implications (25 marks)

•    Attachments and references / bibliography of resources /texts used (10marks)
