Project charter Learning Outcomes Assessed: K1, K2, S2, S3, and S4 Purpose: Determine the student’s capability to understand the client's IT/IS requirements and articulate them into project goals and prepare a project charter. Requirements: Review the allocated project specification and discuss with the client to understand their business requirements. Students will then formulate high level project goals and define the project scope. Assess the team capabilities and processes involved in the project. Team must prepare a formal project charter which includes: client introduction, high level project requirements, high level project goals and scope, high level project planning, milestones and timeline. Project charter should be signed by the client, project supervisor and project team manager.
