On a cruise to the Bahamas
Bahamas are beautiful. They can be considered the ultimate escape for summer. The
beautiful clear waters, the unique tradition and the luxurious resorts are just the beginning. There are exotic beaches, compelling flora and fauna and most of all the ultimate spectacle of abundant sea life and water animals. Keeping this in mind and with a compelled conviction to this summer a sea time, I decided to take a cruise trip to the Bahamas along with a few close friends. Having never taken an extended sea trip like that, I soon discovered that the cruise idea was a very bad one.
We started off early as the cruise was scheduled to leave at 10 am. We reached at our leisure by 9 and boarded the ship to enjoy the spectacular sea view. I wasn’t sure what the feeling in the pit of my stomach was. I eluded it to the excitement of a wonderful vacation. However, as the cruise started off, the excitement turned to anxiety as I found myself having a severe case of seasickness. That was the moment I realized that my trip was ruined.
