SWOT analysis of Toshiba Hard drive
Strength
1. Strong market position: Toshiba holds a strong position in the markets it operates in. Toshiba is one of the major global players in herd drive business. In 2010 35 percent of the total revenue of Toshiba was contributed by the electronics devices business (Corporate profile n.d.). The strong brand image of the company makes it easier to penetrate existing markets and explore new markets. The wide variety of products helps Toshiba Hard Drive gain strong market share by increasing opportunities of cross selling.
