Supporting Significant Life Events You are going to create an information/resource booklet based on a case study. You are encouraged to create your own case study although you may use the example copied below that will be presented in class. The booklet will be done in parts and will be creative alongside informative, with illustrations. You will have multiple opportunities to gain the merit and distinction criteria throughout work. You should think about the reader and how to make the reading as simple but informative as possible. The theme of the case study should run throughout the assignment as a reference point for both social policy and significant Life. • Explain the impact of the significant life event on the individual (1.1) Your work must also contain an analysis of the following: • The possible group responses to the significant life event that has occurred to one of its members (1.2) • The impact on others in health and social care when an individual experiences significant life events (1.3) Please ensure that you have not just described the possible responses/impact it needs to be an analysis. Use examples from practice and references to theory to support your analysis. To achieve M2, the training materials need to be appropriate to the understanding of significant life events for the new carers have using a range of sources for information, correctly referenced using the Harvard Referencing System To achieve D2 the training materials need to show the connection between individuals and the group they belong to through an analysis of the group responses to the significant life event Refer to maslow theory Make a case study should reflect: psychological, physical and emotional 1 Name the organization? 2 what the organization does? 3 how this organization support family and friends? 4 what type of organization liaise with?
