Summary:This assignment consists of four critical, reflective responses to four selected questions. You are provided with six questions, from which you are required to choose any four. The questions covertopics 1-5, and reference should be made to session materials and readings in your responses. Each response should not be longer than 300 words.Please provide the word count at the end of each of the responses. The act of including someone is called as inclusion in literal means but in childhood education Inclusion or inclusive education refers to a situation where all the children is taken for childhood education and care settings and
provided with proper support so that they participate and succeed in all the aspects of their education. Inclusion in childhood education also refers to the models which are made to help the students with special needs or disabilities to be a part of the education along with general students or non-disabled peers. Inclusion also mentions about the fact that there is a specially designed curriculum for these students with proper guidance by trained professionals. In today’s world inclusive education in early childhood is made a part of the curriculum to help the children with disabilities. To be honest inclusive education is a child’s right and not a privilege. However, for young children in the early childhood settings, inclusion is a fragmented and complex experience. (UNESCO, 1994).
The importance of inclusion in early childhood education is very important as it not only benefits the society as the kids grow up to be responsible citizens but actually the students with all sort of abilities can get access to inclusive education programs to learn, live and work in inclusive communities in the days to come. Inclusion also is important as it helps the children with disabilities and their families feel welcome and accepted. Even the teachers are also instructed to be open and include all sort of children for their programs regardless of their disabilities. This also gives an option of equal opportunity to all the children who has every right to get educated. Inclusion also helps the children to learn better and develop the skills that are needed for developing their cognitive behaviour also. Inclusion also helps to improve the sense of belongingness for the education among the children due to which they can grasp things better. (Cram Editor,2021).
