Introduction
It can be said that the notion of race played one of the most important roles in the way by which Americans tend to think in terms of their history same as
that once played by the frontier. However, when the frontier’s notion was lost concerning its power to do so such as race still continuously tempted individuals at present also into the mistaken belief that the experience of the Americans consists of great exception in the entire history (Smedley & Smedley, 2018).
Body
It is quite evident that in the article Barbara Field asserted that race is mainly a social construction instead of the physical attribute of the people. Furthermore, as per this author, it is also stated that the injustices have been increasing at an alarming rate when the meaning of race is tried to be assigned by the society (Fields, 1990). It is also asserted by the author that the dominant groups tends use race for showing a sense of superiority for justifying the oppression. On the other hand, the meaning of race is continuously verified in the social life to a great extent. Furthermore, the above-mentioned ideologies also tend to manifest themselves in their inclusion toward the law. It was asserted by the Langston Hughes that unfortunately he is not black but there were a lot of various kind of blood that was running in his family in specific. However, in America particularly the word “Negro” is used to highlight the fact that anyone who has black blood in their veins. Arguably, in the Africa Negro is something that is quite pure (Fields& Fields, 2014). It simply means all of the Negros is hence black and he is brown. Moreover, Fields was extremely frustrated with the fact that in the recent times also people are quite concerned about race. Furthermore, for the Fields and Fields any kind of invocation concerning the race even in the descriptive or explanatory category can be termed as racist.
It has been observed that everywhere classes have struggled over the privilege as well as power over the exploitation over the competing senses in terms of the justice as well as right but in the case of America, these were considered to be the secondary thing.
