Introduction
Sustainable development involves to ensure the human well-being and
to create effective economic and social development with balancing ecological systems. In order to ensure the sustainable development and waste reduction, Smartphone is used as a great products to have impact in both use and manufacturing (Moustafa, 2016). As being a product design engineer, it is a responsibility to approach the Smartphone manufacturing by assessing environmental impact for the design practice to overcome the environmental issues regarding waste reduction. The study will focus on strategies and scope for the project in order to resolve the issue of sustainable development and waste reduction by using smart phones to develop the energy consumption. Samsung A50 Smartphone has been taken that will be discussed in environmental life cycle assessment while identifying the sustainable development and remanufacturing.
Task 1: Goal and scope definition for the project
The goal of the project is to focus on achieving economic growth and sustainable development that requires reducing the waste and other ecological misbalance. Ecological footprint is required to remove and implement of the smart phone design are goal of the project (Schneider et al., 2018).
Scope of the project is to establish the sustainable development and energy consumption to maintain ecological balance. The selected Smartphone has a scope to make a proper guideline and manufacturing practices to improve the environmental issues regarding waste reduction and sustainable development.
Inventory of the life cycle stages for the smartphone:
Invention of the life cycle stages has impact to develop the design on manufacturing or service regarding sustainable development and waste reduction (Hasnain Saeed et al., 2019). Samsung A50 is considered to focus on current market for developing the materials and levels of energy consumption at the stages.  Inventory analysis for the Smartphone focuses on performance-based consideration and literature research in order to continue the service through entire life cycle. During design of different product life cycle, it is easy to develop the Smartphone design based on model including ecosystem view and the business view. Ecosystem model has environmental impact during the life of reaction to death of the product. During goal and scope step, the life stages of Smartphone can be described basically divided on the process of creative and inventory for the product system with the ecological movement (Kościelniak et al., 2019). Systematic technology is identified and unquantified to evaluate information from the result through the life cycle of product impact assessment.

(Source: Pires et al., 2019)
Goal and scope definition, inventory analysis, impact assessment and interpretation are the four steps to describe and develop the lifecycle stages of the smart phones. The ecosystem model processes the steps in order to develop the product system of systematic assessment and product development regarding sustainable development. Interpretation of the systemic technique is needed to develop the new product progress through identifying, quantifying, checking and evaluating information.
The business view of product cycle is important to show the new product progress through different stages starting with introduction, growth, maturity and decline stage. It is important to focus on the stages including product, price, promotion and distribution to maximize the profit. According to Mansoor and Waseem (2019), product life cycle shows how a smart phones this built and the market is developed for the products regarding assessing the inventory and energy consumption at every stage.  Energy consumption in each stage of business view product cycle and others is estimated as a competitive and litigious sector in order to associate with e-waste practice and sustainable management.
