Students are required to identify a key issue in the sport and performance psychology literature, and then propose a research study to address that issue. Any of the topics covered in class are available to be examined by the students The topic will be introduced and the problem will be defined and explained A clear research question will be identified Following this, a research study will proposed including the following key details: (1) Design of study, (2) Participants and recruitment, (3) Equipment and Measures, (4) Procedure to be followed; and (5) Analysis of Data. To conclude, students will clearly specify how their proposed study will address the issue/problem they have identified Note that the portfolio and tutorials are specifically designed to assist with the production of this assessment piece A clear marking rubric is available on Moodle In order to access D and HD grade, students will be required to clearly demonstrat critical analysis and independent work.
