These activities range from recording a screenshot of your work, to submitting a guided activity from the study guide, to providing an example to illustrate a particular concept, including an explanation in your own words. The deliverables of this assignment are: 1. A portfolio document (.doc or .docx) with title page, contents, page numbers and headings. Included in this document are various answers to activities as well as explanations and screenshots. 2. A folder (zipped for submission) with subfolders and gfar (Greenfoot archive) files which are answers for the activities indicated throughout the study guide. These should be named as specified through the study guide. Marking: Several representative activities will be chosen by the unit assessor in Week 13 to mark, for your portfolio. The majority of these activities will be in Modules 1 to 9 – and the available marks for these activities will add to 30 marks. The additional activities provided in Module 10 and 11 are available for bonus marks. The maximum mark available for this assignment is still 30 marks. Encouraged Attribution Required Ask tutor Not acceptable This assignment, which is to be completed individually, is your chance to gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and coding syntax on which later learning in other units will be based. It is important that you master these concepts yourself. Since you are mastering fundamental skills, you are permitted to work from the examples in the study guide or textbook, but you must acknowledge assistance from other textbooks or classmates. In particular, you must not use online material or help from others, as this would prevent you from mastering these concepts.
