Assessment task 1: Develop an operational plan
Part A- Operational plan knowledge
While playing the business compliance specialist's role for CBSA, a consulting service where the assistance is provided with several factors like finances, human resources, other businesses, and technology, the operational plan knowledge demonstrates the mission, vision, core values, strategic goals, and operational strategy issues. The CBSA has its mission, and the main task to accomplish all its objectives, where it should provide the right assistance to other firms. Its main mission is also in the fact that operations that are carried by it should cover every aspect. The vision statement is that it aims to develop the collective knowledge for its firms who come to have support on different issues like finances etc (Fletcher, L., Alfes, K., & Robinson, 2018). for example, its central vision is to develop quality services and with this, every requirement should be complied with. The core values are like they serve with better services, and there is made no discrimination between any clients. The clients should feel happy with the service that is provided to them. Thus, the core value is based on the ethical plans where they develop the right attitude towards their client and they seek a better future. The strategic goals mean that with the operational plan's advancement, there are seen goals to be reached like business risk strategy, consequences of that risk, etc. The operational plan strategic issue includes a mitigation strategy.
Part B- Develop an operational plan
The operational plan that is the process which involves the planning of the strategic goals and objectives is the fundamental of how the goals of the CBSA are going to be achieved. Some other facts throw light on attaining specific goals. For example, when CBSA has planned a strategy, it will provide for a better strategy and this strategy will help attain perfection in providing the services to other firms who came here for the support and help (Akkermans, Tims, Beijer & De Cuyper, 2019). There is also the use of the single plan, which means that there is the process of cutting the expenditure is followed. A clear picture of the tasks and responsibilities is provided to the organization to achieve the target and goals that are manifested in their manifesto. The implementation of the strategic plan for the strategies means that all operational plans should be developed in respect of organizational personnel. To provide the best services, the strategy is developed accordingly. There should be quality standards and there is a risk management plan which should assess the management with defects and risks.
Part C-Develop contingency Plan
The contingency plan is the plan that is devised for CBSA to tackle exceptional cases. In the first instance, some risks can be tackled and on another hand, some risks cannot be tackled and put in the contingency category. For example, a natural disaster may occur and when the employees are flying in the plane then it might get crashed which is unexpected to the company CBSA. This will help identify the development of the plans that ensure a company that needs to develop more plan for contingent areas. There is sometimes an unexpected outcome, which means that with an exceptional risk, proper care should be taken there. These plans are developed looking at the need for the company's goal and how they will tackle the...
