Step 1. Research the intervention you have identified using the PICO/PEO format. Submit your completed PICO/PEO template as part of your assessment documentation.
Step 2. Complete an annotated bibliography, which includes 6-8 authoritative sources of evidence identified from your PICO/PEO search. Submit your completed annotated bibliography as part of your assessment documentation.
Step 3. Present a 15-20 minute talk that outlines
a) the practice problem
b) best practice and
c) a change management proposal using the principals of Practice Development and Transformational Leadership(REF)  that embeds the new intervention into the ward’s current practice.
Step 4. Submit all presentation documentation:
1. PICO/PEO

2. annotated bibliography used the table provided
3. the script of your presentation (2500 words +/- 10%).
4. image, PowerPoint (if you have used it) and
5. A list of references that you have used to inform your presentation.


PART B – Consumer Information 20%
Step 1. Create an information tool designed to advise consumers (patients, family, and public) about the practice change that you are proposing. Your tool must advise consumers what the change is, why it is necessary and what the implications for them will be.  Examples are Poster, brochure, video etc.
