Statement of Purpose My reason for applying to the Master of Biology Program is to both expand my knowledge of the this field and to qualify myself to be a good educator, since my future career will be mainly teaching in an institution. I believe that a Master of Biology degree at Dalhousie University will prepare me for a successful and challenging career in the field of Biology. My diverse work and study experiences have given me a better understanding of what opportunities are available to me. I have always been fascinated with Biology educational programs, and someday I want to be instrumental in this process. I believe that Master of Biology Program will provide me with the tools to succeed in my future career. My main area of interest in Biology is related to Botany, and based on the criteria regarding admission to the Master of Biology Program, I hereby apply. I feel that graduate study at your University will be the most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step towards achieving my objectives. I would be grateful to you if I am given the opportunity to pursue my graduate studies with financial assistance at your institution and am able to justify your faith in me.
