Task Overview:   This case study analysis requires you to identify a problem, and then communicate your ideas, reflections and solutions, within a real-world business context. You will evaluate the case study given to you in the Week 1 class, answer the key areas provided, which includes making recommendations to this e-Business organisation.  Organisation (case study) is Amazon IN AUSTRALIA. Key areas to be discussed in your report: · Australia's online retail and business / government market  · Amazon's initial expansion results (product an revenue) in Australia (eg, Amazon prime, Web services, amazon.com.au). A success or not? · Amazon's Leadership principles  · Amazon's Business strategy in Australia · Amazon's Eco-system in Australia · Amazon's core capabilities (eg, Miles & Snow typology; 5 Forces; Competition Model) in Australia · Amazon's Opportunities / Challenges in Australia · Key recommendations for Amazon in Australia. ADMINISTRATIVE Submission type:  1,500 words maximum +/- 10%, excluding appendices and references.    Preparation/Instructions: · Thoroughly read about AMAZON in AUSTRALIA (Case study) - this will assist you in understanding about AMAZON. See the readings posted onto iLearn. · Analyse AMAZON and how this relates to the questions asked. · Consider any Business theories or tools that have been discussed and how they can used to answer the questions. · Answer all the questions provided; Analysis and apply the concepts when answering the questions. Use actual examples to enhance your answers. · Submit the completed report on iLearn using Turnitin, by the due date.   Extensions: · if you need an extension to this assignment please email the Unit Convenor BEFORE the assignment is due.  Penalties: · Assignments which are longer than 10% more than the prescribed limit will be penalised by 10% of the project’s total mark.  Late submissions will be penalised 10% of the project's total mark per day overdue.
