SPEECH OUTLINE AND POWERPOINT TO BE INCLUDED


This will be an informative speech that either 1) demonstrates (focus on a process, usually a “how” or “how to” speech), 2) describes (paint a clear picture of an event, person, object, place, situation, or concept), or 3) explains (usually ideas, theories, principles, and beliefs---- more abstract then speeches of demonstration or explanation). Here are some points to remember: 1) visual aids must be used in this speech; 2) you must use at leasttwodocumented sources; 3) the speech must be delivered extemporaneously.
The outline needs to be typed and in the standard outline format provided. (A document is

lution of 1776.
Introduction
A. Attention Getter:
Waging wars in history in not about fighting with selfishness; it is all about confronting the biased ruling and fighting for the rights of living with freedom.
B. Motivation to Listen:
The American Revolution is the proud moment in history from where, the onset of American freedom and formation of constitution became possible.
C. Thesis Statement:
The end of colonial influence over American people was the end result of the war against British in 1776; the protesting voices emerged because of the dominating attitude showcased by British Rule through events like Boston Massacre and retaliation at the shores of New York with German support in the years 1770 and 1776.
D. Establish Creditability:
A series of events that took place from 1771 to the end of war till 1781 justify that the war was fought for the right cause of freedom of living of American people.
E. Preview Main Points:
The main sources of the onset of war were related to Boston Massacre of 1770. In spite of the passing of Declaration of Independence in 1776, the British Troops landed at the shores of New York and other neighboring regions so that they can suppress the rebellious voices.
