Some research suggests that college student athletes who are subject to high stress levels (due to academic demands, personal problems, or other sources) are more likely to be injured during a game. A random sample of student athletes was obtained, and a questionnaire was used to determine the stress level of each prior to a game. Following the game, the injury status of each athlete was also recorded. The data are summarized in the following table.
