Some research has shown that families vary by how they socialize their children to sports, games, and other leisure activities. In middle-class families, such activities are carefully monitored by parents and are, in general, dominated by adults (e.g., minor league hockey). In working-class families, children more often organize and initiate such activities themselves, and parents are much less involved (e.g., sandlot or playground baseball games). Are the data below consistent with these findings? Compute gamma and summarize the relationship in a few sentences.
