From the Voices of Diversity video, I learned that people have very different experiences and perspectives when it comes to race and ethnicity and that these experiences and perspectives can have a profound impact on how individuals approach social work practice. One idea that resonated with me was the idea that racism is not just an individual problem, but rather a systemic issue that is deeply embedded in our society.
