Cone of Depression:
A Cone of Depression is formed where the water table sinks at an exact point
because of heavy pumping. Due to this activity the soil particles in the ground has increased air space. when the water pumping rate is faster than the ground water flow than it results in drawdown of water table at the location of the pump to form a cone.
