Should someone who uses the Internet to mislead someone be held criminally liable and sent to prison? Even in cases such as Stand's where there is actual destructive contact, the victims voluntarily engaged in a sexual relationship with the catfisher. They could have instead called the police, but they chose not to and complied with his demands. Do his actions warrant a 15-year prison sentence?
