1. Introduction
The development of network design for Barranquilla hotel requires effective requirement analysis form the users, management and staff of the hotel. The poor wireless services to the Barranquilla hotel is leading to problems of insufficient capacities, creation of dead zones and most important dropped connections. These are serious issues to Barranquilla hotel and require effective networks to overcome these issues. The implementation of new network with layered approach to all its different five departments will lead to effective solution to Barranquilla hotel. The selection of devices for developing wireless and wired network for Barranquilla hotel is also important and these devices will be selected on the bases of requirement analysis performed with all users. The Barranquilla hotel can have increased load in case of maximum guests to hotel, so, scope of this network design must considered the increased or decreased user load making connections to Barranquilla hotel network. The implementation of network design to Barranquilla hotel will require developing different policies to maintain the security and restriction of unauthorized users. The schema for allocation of IP addresses to all connected users from five departments and guests is also requires to be developed.
