Quota Sampling and Stratified random sampling are the methods of sampling. In these two methods, we usually collect the data to have a check on the population. That is how many thousands per head the population is increasing. Quota sampling is a non-probable sampling method, in which the researchers collect the data from individual sources. For example, it is checking on the population individually. It is more like the census, which happens after every ten years (Etikan & Bala, 2017).
On the other hand, the stratified random sampling method is a way in which the researchers take up a random individual and collect information from him regarding his family background or other aspects. From the research perspective, quota sampling is a much more reliable method of collecting data. According to the stratified random sampling, we cannot represent the whole society taking any one person because it may be the wrong method to get information (Sharma, 2017).
