Sensitive to change. If changes do occur in a target, you want to be sure that your measure will be able to pick them up. An insensitive measure, by definition, is one that won’t indicate change even though actual changes have come about. Although we discussed this criterion largely in relation to standardized scales, it pertains to the use of any measure.
