Self-image. This is the self you perceive yourself to be. Using a full 8 1/2- by 11-inch page, draw two concentric circles (a circle within a circle)—the inner circle representing the core of your self-concept and the outer circle the more flexible, changeable selves. Within the inner circle, list six to eight of your most enduring aspects (traits). In the outer circle, list a similar number of aspects of yourself that are more dependent on changing roles and circumstances. How would you describe your overall self-image?
