a)My name is Xin Xu. The date of this performance is September 28th.
b)The name of this performance is “Tiger Can’t Sleep by S.J. Fore.
- I learned snore and cry in this performance. I am shy, but I did it, just like everyone else did. Besides, the important point is that I try to talk to my audience about this story without my paper. I know that I understand this story, so I can do that. It’s simple.
d) Mike, he did well in this performance. Mike is progressing all the time and I saw improvement in his speaking skills. His performance is full of energy and enthusiasm and a lot of the voices of tiger. It’s so funny. Jesse, his voice sounded louder and higher. He imitates animal calls and can hit off tiger perfectly. This is an improvement. And he often uses hand gestures and facial expressions to get his message across. Better than the last time. Sarah, I thought that she has made a progress in her speaking. She smiled, her face natural. Her performance with a lot of passion. It’s better than the last time. Although she speaks quickly, her voice is always loud enough for us to hear her, so I never look on her speaking speed as a shortcoming.
e) I feel fine today. First, I try to use gestures and frequent eye contact to comfortable with my audience. Because I know that my action (silent language) is an important medium for the exchange of ideas the audience. Second, I learned to cry and snore in this performance. My audience laughed. So I think that I improved a lot this performance, like a speaker.
f) The first is although I talk to my audience about this story without my paper, I forgot the rest of what I wanted to say. I need to think. I know it is not good. The second is I think my voice sounds loud, but my teacher don’t think so. He think that I should speak much louder. So, I will try to do my best in the next performance.
