There, being black would clearly mean to live with several racial discrimination issues from the cradle to grave. Racial discrimination tends to exists as well as affecting profoundly the routine situations as well as life chances of everyday life in Unites states especially for the racial minorities. Even after the racism persistence, the racial discrimination influence over the social behaviors of individuals remains underdeveloped to extremities. This essay tends to analyze the race as a minority theme that navigates in both the prescribed texts “I’m Not your Negro” and Going to Meet the Man”. The racialist concept about race defines that there are some of the predefined and fixed patterns of race based intellectual, moral as well as cultural characteristics which tends to be heritable leading to formation of distinct racial hierarchy over time.
James Baldwin’s short story “Going to meet the man” depicts a young boy who was open minded but grew into a well versed and full-fledged racist on the basis of extensive conditioning.
