 In this article, authors have raised few logical issues related with gene therapy. According 
to them, this therapy can prove to be successful in substitution of a faulty gene sequence with an 
exact version so that, patients could get relief from serious illnesses.  They further define that 
although, such a challenging mission could not be accomplished yet, but momentous progress is 
apparent in the area. For instance, clinical trials related with treatment of hemophilia by means of 
gene transfer had presented positive results in context of efficiency and security. Consequent 
reengineering of vectors and delivery systems also resulted in enhanced outcomes in animal 
models. Article is focused on the growth and troubles of gene therapy for hemorrhagic disorders, 
and it also discusses the approaches correlated with clinical application of gene therapy (Murphy 
& High, 2008).  
 This article caught my attention because it is related with application of genes in 
treatment of illnesses, and being a biology student myself, I do agree with the authors that this 
therapeutic approach has very good chances of success since; according to writers of my text 
book, gene is a segment of DNA which is also known as master molecule of body because, it can 
regulate all our characteristics both structural and functional so; therapy based on genes can 
generate an innovative era in medicine.
