Again, make sure you choose someone who is comfortable enough to talk to you about this relationship...a parent, a close friend, a relative. (The person CANNOT be YOUR significant other or yourself.) This relationship could have ended in divorce, or it could represent the end of a long-term relationship of some kind. Using the info in our textbook, describe the phases of relational de-escalation to your interviewee. What behaviors characterized each stage? What happened in the relationship to move it down each level? How much time did each stage take? Could the conflict have been managed better? Introduction
There are many people, who feel like doing something good for someone else by improving their life. Being in a loving relationship provides the person a sense of well being and purpose in life. However, there are occasions when relationship problem occur, and that gets escalated to the point of separation. In this article the detailed discussion is done on the significant of relationship, the developmental activities of relationship and impact of the repaired relationship over the person. 
Interview 
In this interview the person selected is a middle aged person in his late forty’s had just got together with his wife after a troublesome relationship between them. Yao et al. (2018) have discussed that among all the relationships, the husband wife relationship is considered as most important relationship because no birth can take place without this relationship. The person was previously having a good relationship with his wife, which was filled with love, affection, mutual understanding, adjustment, the liberty and finally the freedom among the couples. Any of the above mentioned aspects getting affected will bring strain in the relationship. 
The relation between husband and wife gets stronger through the different stages of relational development. Trieu (2020) has discussed that there are different stages of relationship development explained by Knapp’s relational Development Model, in which he has broken down the ten step process of relationship in two phases.  The first phase is the coming together phase in which the first step is initiation, where the individual makes first impression on each other.
