What are the advantages and disadvantages of using online media to improve health 
behavior?  
 As ‘each coin has two sides’ in the same way, online media offers both benefits and risks 
regarding health behavior. In its benefits we may consider quick access, rapid response, and low 
cost etc. In fact, it might prove to be beneficial for such people specifically who do not have 
access to health services either because of financial and/or transportation problem(s) or owing to 
extreme business. Such people might get access to such websites whenever they need the same 
hence; may obtain solution(s) of their problem(s) either via studying the contents given on health 
websites or through posting their health problem(s) and getting a response via web team. 
(Winkleby, 1990) 
 But, here we cannot ignore the disadvantages or risks associated with such websites as; 
most of such webs are run by health products manufacturers. Hence; they usually offer such 
solutions which need to utilize their products. Now, consumption of such products might not be 
advantageous for all thus;
