These methods could be legal or illegal. The pressures group work to influence the public perception so that they would have more support from the public hence the government is more likely to listen to the majority. A pressure group could use many different methods such as demonstrations, lobbying (politicization), petitions or marches they could do whatever they wish with or without permission. If they do gain publicity with the method they established, then there is a chance that they would be more successful. An example of this is when the Father for justice dressed as a superhero who climbed a Foreign Office Balcony overlooking a street called Downing. This was definitely remembered by the public and had gained publicity therefore the government had to do something about this as this was in the public eye. The government had held a meeting about the matter and had come to a conclusion "What we have recently put forward are proposals that will give children much more time with both their parents - the non-resident parent as well as the resident parent.” This shows how the pressure group can influence the government to change their decisions and legislations.
