Scholars agree that ethical decision-making is a dual process based on logic and intuition to make moral choices in social situations. Finding a balance between logic and intuition is often the tricky part to decision-making. In the text, Johnson (2021) suggests decision-making guidelines or formats are tools to help leaders make better ethical choices. Using a systematic approach helps leaders carefully define the problem, gather information, apply ethical standards and values, and identify and evaluate alternatives to defend their decisions (p. 317).

Write
a 1,400- to 1,750-word paper in which you research a contemporary educational ethical issue where your personal beliefs and values may conflict with legal and societal expectations. The contemporary issue should explore widely accepted moral and ethical values that come in conflict with legal requirements and societal thought.

Address
the following in your paper:

  • Summarize the selected issue, present the legal stance, and assert what you believe the societal stance to be.

  • Outline the expected consequences and benefits of the selected issue based on the accepted value systems.

  • Describe the conflict and the decision or action you would take if you had no ethical compass. What would the consequences and benefits be in that situation?

  • Explain what ethical course of action you would take if this issue arose in your institution. Consider the following questions:

  • Would that course of action be based on your personal values or ethical decision-making?

  • How would you sell your ideas to other leaders, parents, students, and/or the community?

  • If your ideas were not accepted, what would your fallback position be, if you had one?

  • If your institution is a global organization, how would this change the nature of the issue and the course of action that would be taken as a leader?

Include
at least 5 peer-reviewed scholarly sources in your paper.

Today, organizations whether business, educational institutions or non-profits, all over the world are paying more attention to the idea of work ethics and are looking for ways to successfully put it into practice rather than just on paper. Indeed, ethical behaviour fosters a positive work environment. Leadership must pay close attention to ensure ethical behavio
ur because ethical values can change over time. Work ethics are an essential part of modern business because how an organization treats its employees has a significant impact on its success. I have conducted extensive research on ethics, its importance in an organization, its integration in the workplace, and the impact of ethics on performance as a result of this report. I have used the employee experience, their level of satisfaction, and the organization's attrition rate to determine how ethics affect performance. The research's parameter takes into account the multifaceted nature of applied ethics in academic, education and work as we student also perform internships during this period.
Summary of the Issue
In this case, the problem statement was that Avature Security wanted to make use of an information system that could help automate customer experiences and improve origination processes. For instance, members' credits would be taken by games and services in the theme park. Additionally, the organization's employees would spend less time performing manual and repetitive tasks with the assistance of the information system that was installed. In accordance with the requirements, I also contributed to the creation of the project charter and scope.
Any project's success depends on knowing what it needs. Characteristics and attitudes that are necessary to build the project are identified as requirements. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that all stakeholder expectations are discussed and comprehended so that the project can be developed appropriately. Information System in Avature Security required the same amount of capital as my project: $250,000.
It was necessary for this system to be user-friendly and interactive with customers. The entire project had to be finished within the allotted time frame. The project's functional requirement was to provide the customer with a wide range of services. To ensure that all of the resources are utilized to their full potential, they must be properly assigned to team members. The project's non-functional requirements included integrity, security, scalability, usability, and reliability.
System analysis is very important because it provides a path to a solution within the system due to the numerous tasks involved in analysis. Modeling abilities and methods are crucial because managers can use models to enhance project planning and production process efficiency. As a result of these tasks, the system's overall quality can be easily modified and improved, reducing the number of errors. In addition, this assists the project team in determining inherent risks and risk mitigation strategies, as well as in producing a high-quality system with assurance. We discussed which modelling technique to use, an agile approach or a structured approach, while I was working on the project. Both approaches emphasize adding value to the organization but have different focus. In order to achieve value, a structured approach places an emphasis on the business justification for the capital investment, while an agile approach places an emphasis on the usability of the product and incremental value addition.
