Mr. D. was admitted to General Hospital for surgery to repair a fractured hip. After a few days in the hospital, he will be transferred to Memorial Nursing Care Center, a skilled facility for additional rehabilitation (similar to a long-term care facility). After discharge from Memorial Nursing Care Center, it is expected that Mr. D. will need home care for four to six weeks.
