SCENARIO:

1. Angelo, a 10- year old male was rushed by his mother to the emergency room due to a motor vehicle accident. According to Mrs. Annie Lucio his mother. Angelo cries in severe pain of his leg." What happened ask the nurse". He told me he will leave to buy school supplies using his bike. I was surprised when his friend told me his bike was accidentally hit by a tricycle and he was badly hit. He has a severe headache and his leg is very painful. after gathering Angelos data the ER doctor visits him and requests him to undergo CT scan of the head to see if there is no hemorrhage since his head was accidentally bumped in the Meralco post and to do an x-ray of his left leg to make sure there is no fracture. Mrs. Annie signed the consent for an  MRI of his head and an x-ray of his leg.

A. If you will be the Nurse how will you prepare Angelo for CT scan of the head and x-ray? of his leg? What would you advise Mrs. Luco and Angelo?
