Sarah Kowalski is a 15-year-old girl who has presented at the sexual health clinic requesting information about birth control options. She appears nervous and scared; she will not maintain contact and appears tense. When questioned about her relationship she is vague in her answers. Upon further discussion she opens up to you that she is in a relationship with an older boy (18 years old) who is pressuring her to have sexual relations. She really likes this boy and is afraid he will dump her if she does not agree.. He is her first boyfriend. Sarah has very limited knowledge about human sexuality and birth control and although she does not ask questions you are unsure how much of the information she understands. In your teachings please don’t forget to following:
>Teach her contraceptive methods
> Teach her about STD
>Teach her never to use Female condoms
