The general features of this rock are as follow.
· It is an example of clastic sedimentary rock.
· The
grain size is coarse.
· It is an opaque rock.
· Clasts are smooth to touch, rounded and shiny in appearance.
· It is a soft and durable rock.
· The common colors of this rock are orange, white,yellow,grey, brown, beige and such colors; the color of the rock shown in the picture is beige and brown
· Mineral composition- Limestone, granite, quartz, basalt, gneiss. The binding matrix is composed of sand grains and mud
