Introduction
    Child labor and injustice against children in the age group of 5 years to 7 years is one of the major issues the African continent has been facing. Despite of ban on child labor brutality against children could be seen in various parts of Africa. The statistics show that nearly 30% of children in the age group of 5-17 years accounting to 59 million in numbers are exploited every day and are forced to work at mines, farms and quarries. Child labor in its extreme forms of sexual exploitation, child slavery, drug trafficking and child soldiers can be seen in the African community. This article shall highlight the evil of child labor prevailing in the African society with the help of three other peer reviewed articles.
Research Questions
    The three peer reviewed articles considered here reflect the same point of view. The articles highlight the adverse impact of child labor on the African community. As stated by Maconachie and Hilson (2016) in their article the children of mining communities are forced to work as child miners to earn their livelihood having an adverse impact on their physical and mental health. In the opinion of Agyemang (2018) involvement of young children in drug trafficking, human trafficking and their involvement in hazardous labor is a serious matter of concern for the African government.
