Return to the body measurement data introduced in Chapter 12, and find Fisher’s linear discriminant function for allocating individuals to be men and women. (We are aware that there is a foolproof method. The first 10 observations in the data set are men, the remaining 10 are women.) Construct a scatterplot of the data showing the group membership and the derived linear discriminant function.
