Senegal is the westernmost country located in the Africa. Due to its atmosphere and nautical travelling routes, it is the most popular tourist destination of the continent and it is also considered the ‘Gateway to Africa’. The country is stretched out for almost 197,000 square km. and its population is about 15 million. The country is officially named Republic of Senegal and its capital is Dakar. Its climate is mostly semi-arid along with a rainy season. The south part of the country is separated from the rest because of a small country named Gambia and the Gambia River. Its official language is French (Green, 2018).
