Research - Rough DraftUsing the topic that you selected in your Topic Selection assignment, write a 500-word paper. Again, the paper should either be about technology, or how your chosen topic relates to or uses technology. This is a rough draft and will only be graded on the following:	The paper must have at least 500 words. (60%)	The paper must have a Bibliography with at least 3 sources. Use the tools in Microsoft Word for creating/managing citations and then insert the Bibliography from the References tab in Word. (30%)This was discussed in Word Chapter 3. The sources can be any type of source (website, book, video, etc.). Please do NOT use Wikipedia as a source.	The file must be named using the naming convention. (10%)The file naming convention is your last name, followed by your first name, followed by the assignment name all in camel case. Camel case means that the first word is lowercase and all other words will have the first letter capitalized.	Example:My name is Donald Marshall. This assignment is Topic Selection. I would name my file marshallDonaldRoughDraft.docx (the .docx is the file extension that is used for files created in Microsoft Word and will generally be there by default without needing to type it).	The file must be a .docx file from Microsoft Word. (I will not grade the paper if it is not)For this rough draft, I am not grading for content. I just want to see that you have put some thoughts together on paper and that you are using actual sources for your information. Note, in your final submission I will only allow one quote. Anymore than that will be a penalty to your grade; as such, I recommend avoiding using too many quotes in this assignment as well.

Introduction
Hi, my name is Roshea and the topic for today that I have chosen is billing and technology. The digital era has transformed the way people take up the use of technology into their daily lives; it is hard to imagine a single direction, in which there is no positive intervention that technology has made (Kim, Kang & Hong, 2017). In the context of business operations, internet has changed the way of consumers as well as of organizations to look at the payment systems.
Unlike the conventional methods of physical currency transfer from one end to another, the promotion of digital mode of payments has largely affected the billing systems that exist today. These systems are giddied by the principle of creating smooth and hassle free environment of funds exchanges. The transactions are now done with several modes that technology has made possible. 
The Electronic Payment Systems 
At first, it is important to note here that electronic payment systems have boosted the overall financial system as well as the economy of the business world. Electronic payment methods are devised to increase the range of payment systems, which were not possible in the conventional manner (da Silva et al., 2017).
